Cool, Elegant, and Healthy Indoor Plants

There are many cool and elegant indoor plants, but some of them are preferable because of its function to purifying the air in the room. This cool indoor plants are Aloe Vera, Dracaena, Chrysanthemum (Chrysantheium morifolium), and Azalea (Rhododendron simsii).

Aloe Vera
Aloe vera helps you to clear formaldehyde and benzene in the room. Aloe vera is also easy to grow under the sunlight. However, if the plant takes too much sunlight, it can burn. To take care of this plant, you can place it in the bathroom or kitchen or other rooms with medium humidity.

Dracaena

Because Dracaena plants have more than 40 different varieties, you can find and choose one variety that fits your room. However, if you are a pet lover and a pet owner, you might choose another plant because these are toxic to cats and dogs.

Chrysanthemum
Chrysanthemum is a colorful flower that is not only used as decorating room, but also as purifying the air pollution of the room because it filters out benzene. Similar with aloe vera, chrysanthemum also loves sunlight. Therefore, you should put it near an open window to get direct sunlight.

Azalea
This beautiful Azalea flower will clear formaldehyde from plywood or foam insulation. To thrive this flower, you should put it in cool areas around 60 to 65 degrees. This flower is a good option for a basement or for the kitchen. You can place it in other rooms as long as the room is in cooler temperatures.
